How is this different from hiring a freelancer directly?
A freelancer disappears when they are ill, busy or lose interest, and there is nobody to escalate to. A contract developer through us has code review, leave cover, and a lead who will replace them if it is not working. You trade a slightly higher rate for that not being your problem.
What are the commercial terms, and how do we pay?
Month to month, 30 days notice either way. Monthly per person, or hourly against tracked time invoiced weekly. We invoice in USD, GBP or EUR by bank transfer. No setup fee, no lock-in.
Can a short contract turn into a longer one?
Often it does, and nothing changes commercially: same person, same monthly terms. Roughly half of our contract engagements run past their original scope.
How fast can you actually start someone?
