Things we build when we are not building for clients

Between projects we ship small products of our own. It keeps our tools sharp, gives us somewhere to take an idea from first sketch to running service, and puts us on the other side of the software we usually build for other people. Each one below is live. Follow the link to try it.

HireTrack interface

Hiring · Open source, self-hosted

HireTrack

An applicant tracking system you host yourself

A full hiring pipeline that you run on your own infrastructure, released under the MIT licence. Resume evaluation uses a provider key you supply, so scores and candidate data stay with you. The board is drag and drop with a checklist on each stage, interviews sync to Google Calendar, Meet, Zoom and Teams, and one install can hold several isolated organisations. Updates are published over the air for you to apply when you choose.

  • Open source under the MIT licence, self-hosted, your data and your keys
  • Resume evaluation with skills match, cited evidence and red flag detection
  • Drag and drop pipeline with per stage checklists and move validation
  • Roles for admin, HR, interviewer and candidate, enforced across the app
  • Interview scheduling with Google Calendar, Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Bulk CV upload with a local PDF to text step
  • Analytics for the funnel, jobs, interviews and longer trends
  • True multi tenant isolation for running several organisations at once

QuikCV

A CV builder that respects your time

Pick a template, fill in your details or upload an old CV to have it read in for you, then export a clean PDF. Assisted writing drafts and rewrites any section, and the templates are built to pass the automated screens most applications run first. Nothing is stored on a server: your CV lives in the browser until you download it.

  • Designer templates for different roles and career stages
  • Assisted writing that drafts, rewrites, shortens or tailors a section
  • Upload an existing CV and the fields fill themselves in
  • Switch the whole design in one click
  • Colour and typography controls for a look of your own
  • One click PDF export with no watermark
  • Saved locally in your browser, not on our servers

Murmurly

Ambient sound, mixed the way you want it

A sound mixer that layers field recordings and generated textures into a seamless loop, each layer with its own volume. Start from a named scene, share a mix with a link, run a Pomodoro timer or a focus mode, and drive it all from the keyboard. Free sounds are cached for offline use. A paid tier adds the full library, sleep and wake timers, more simultaneous layers and crossfades between scenes.

  • Layer individual sounds, each with its own volume
  • Seamless looping, so a mix plays for as long as you want
  • Named scenes and presets to start from
  • Share a mix with a link
  • Pomodoro timer and focus mode
  • Keyboard shortcuts throughout
  • Offline cache for the free sounds
  • Sounds are royalty free field recordings or generated procedurally

Greetings and collages you can reuse

Two small tools for the messages people usually send as plain text. CheerGrid lets you build a wish once and personalise it for each person with different photos and words. Collage arranges the photos you pick into a layout, lets you drag to swap them, and adds a watermark in a click. Both save as you go, need no account, and keep your files on your device.

  • CheerGrid: build a wish template once, personalise it per person
  • One place to rename, export and manage every wish
  • Collage: automatic layouts from the photos you choose
  • Drag to swap photos between slots
  • Text or image watermarks in one click
  • Auto save, so you can come back to a piece later
  • No sign up, and files never leave your device

TradePlan interface

Trading · Web app

TradePlan

Write the trade before you take it

A planning tool for discretionary traders, with no live feed and no alerts on purpose. Strategy playbooks sit on one side, a trade flow and ledger on the other. Before you commit, a check makes you confirm the instrument, the size, the risk and the checklist, and any override has to carry a reason that stays on the record. A calculator turns entry, stop and capital into a position size capped by your risk budget.

  • Per strategy playbooks with sections, checklists and images
  • A pre trade check covering instrument, sizing, risk and checklist
  • Overrides that need a written reason and stay in the record
  • Position sizing from entry, stop and capital, capped by your risk budget
  • Capital and maximum risk set per strategy
  • A ledger with tags and notes, exportable to CSV or Excel
  • Try it before signing in, no account needed

Quality of life fixes for Definedge Zone

A browser extension that adds keyboard navigation and small workflow fixes to the Definedge Zone platform. A command menu opens on Ctrl or Cmd K and jumps to any screen, with optional quick dial codes. There are chart shortcuts, faster ways through scanner results and long lists, watchlist export, corner alerts in place of full screen dialogs, and it remembers your layout. It runs only on Zone, keeps its settings in the browser, and collects nothing.

  • Command menu on Ctrl or Cmd K, with quick dial shortcuts
  • Chart shortcuts for price lines and the support and resistance tool
  • Step through scanner results without going back to the grid
  • Type to filter on the Master Scanner
  • Watchlist export to CSV with a custom prefix and suffix
  • Corner notifications instead of full screen dialogs
  • Remembers watchlist and chart tool positions between sessions
  • Every feature can be switched off on its own
