Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2026. This explains what happens to personal data when you use upforcetech.com.
Who we are
Upforce Tech is a software development company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. If you have any question about this policy or about data we hold, email contact@upforcetech.com.
What we collect, and why
This site is deliberately light on data collection. There is no account system and no advertising.
- The enquiry form. The "hire developers" and contact pages have a form where you can send your name, work email, and optionally your company, phone, the roles and stack you need, engagement type, team size, timeline and a message. When you submit it, that information is sent to our email inbox through Resend, our transactional email provider, and you receive an automatic acknowledgement. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the submission is not automated without using tracking cookies. We use your details only to reply to you and, if we start working together, to run the engagement.
- Email you send us. The newsletter button and the "email us directly" links open your own email client with a message addressed to us. We then receive whatever you chose to put in that email.
- Careers applications. The Careers page embeds our recruitment tool,
HireTrack, from
hire.upforce.tech. Anything you submit there is handled by that tool under its own terms, for the purpose of considering your application. - Anonymous usage statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand which pages are visited and how fast the site loads. These are privacy-focused: they set no cookies, do not track you across other sites, and do not build a profile of you. We see aggregate counts, not individuals.
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people move through the site. It loads on every visit and sets cookies on your device; Google processes your usage data, including a truncated IP address, on our behalf under a data processing agreement. You can opt out with your browser's cookie controls, a content blocker, or Google's official opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Server logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard access logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for a short period for security and debugging. We do not use these for marketing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not run advertising or third-party marketing trackers on this site.
- We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not track you across other websites.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving our website and in responding to enquiries, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we process personal data for the specified purposes above with your consent, given when you choose to contact us. For analytics, including Google Analytics, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how the site is used; you can opt out at any time as described above.
Sharing
We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Vercel for hosting and analytics, GitLab for the content repository behind the site, Resend to deliver enquiry form submissions and the acknowledgement email, Cloudflare for content delivery and the Turnstile bot check on the form, our email provider for correspondence, and Google for Google Analytics. Each processes data only to provide its service. We do not share your data with anyone else unless we are required to by law.
Retention
Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the relationship, and then deleted. Vercel analytics data is aggregate and is retained by Vercel according to their policy. Google Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set on the property (14 months). Server logs are short-lived.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email contact@upforcetech.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
